Today we meet with my bag and shoe maker in Jakarta. He’s renowned for his beautiful attention to detail with the stitching of each piece and has an eye for selecting only the best skins. We discuss the specs in detail and I select the leathers for the samples. Afterwards , we visit the Yuzm Gallery where Li Hui has the most intriguing and surprising installations on exhibit. For dinner we go to Social House which has the best truffle pasta in Jakarta. Night in tonight, as we prep for our road trip to Bandung which is the central city for leather and dressmakers.
