At 0800 we begin the 3 hour drive to Bandung, we are blessed with no traffic delays today and we make it there ahead of schedule, although we did make a few wrong turns in town due to a bought map that didn’t have the road names written on it. We fuel ourselves with traditional Bandung food at Cabe Rawit before getting lost again to meet my tshirt maker in the south-west of Bandung. We discuss the samples and make changes to my patterns for a few hours. When we leave, the road is so busy I’m literally directing all sorts of traffic in the middle of the road so the car can reverse out! Bandung is much more mountainous than Jakarta, and the city has specatular views once we reach the top for dinner at Cloud 9.
